Load estimation is done by a 15 cms dial bourdon tube form water driven weight measure adjusted in 100 divisions, fitted with the biggest pointer (lagless pointer). The gauge is calibrated against an RTC tested proving ring. The equipment is of passage construction, giving magnificient side wards inflexibility.
The hydraulic loading unit is situated on the base of the loading Instrument. The hydraulic jack is exactly machined. The piston and cylinder are ground and lapped to fine tolerances. The lower platen can be halfway situated on the base and has concentric notches for focusing the example.
