Looking back at some photos from a trip to Paris, I was struck by the amount of greenery in the photographs. Parks, walls and balconies all were made more beautiful by the shades of Green that adorned them.

One of my personal favourites was a “vertical garden” on the front wall of a building we walked past.

Below:  The stunning white of Sacré-Cœur contrasts with the earthy green of the trees. Notre Dame Cathedral from the back. And and a view from the Eiffel Tower that looks as if a patch of greenery is bravely resisting the encroachment of buildings around it.
