Smartron Launched its Next-Generation Hybrid Laptop in India, India’s tech innovative company, Smartron on Friday launched its next-generation of its hyper-laptop- the Smartron multifunctional “tbook flex.” The two in one laptop will be sold exclusively via Flipkart, starting midnight on May 13, 2018, with a price tag of Rs 42,990 for the Intel Core m3-7Y30 processor and at Rs 52,990 for the Intel Core i5-7Y54 processor.
The upgraded Smartron tbook flex is based on window 10 and comes with magnesium and aluminum alloy metallic body. The two in one laptop comes with a lightweight body with an ability to flex up to 150-degrees.
Moreover, the laptop now includes a fast fingerprint scanner and has a Bluetooth-enabled lightweight body with a detachable backlit keyboard that lets you to type in low light environments. The laptop-cum-tablet has the unique dual tone finish and a back stand as well with a step-less hinge design.
The device sports a 12.2-inch WQXGA IPS multi-touch display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The screen offers front and rear cameras, multi-touch display with a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, dual mic, powerful speakers, and fast dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 4, 0.
The device also packs 4GB LPDDR3 RAM, 128GB SSD storage, and Intel HD Graphics 615. On the camera front, the device bears a 5-MP rear camera and 2-MP front shooter.
On the connectivity front, the device is equipped with two USB 3.0 ports, one USB-Type C “Thunderbolt” 3 port that enables users to charge and transfer data up to 40 Gbps. The two in one laptop runs window 10 and has been designed especially for hybrids, and automatically switches between laptop and tablet mode.
The tbook flex measures 307.5 x 202.8 x 9.0mm in the tablet form and weighs 950 grams (without keyboard) and comes in two color options – Orange/Grey and Black/Grey.
