The New Second Generation iPhone SE 2: An Apple’s Forthcoming Budget Smartphone
The American giant techy, Apple finally launched a New Second Generation Iphone SE 2 after many backs to back changes. After the launch of iPhone 8 and iPhone x, Apple has always come out with a new version which is going to be smaller and cheaper.
Apple launched original iPhone SE in March 2016 with the 16 GB storage for £379 but soon Apple did significant changes and bumped up to 32 GB with more updating specifications, design, new features all at the considerably lesser price.
According to sources, Apple will launch SE 2 at WWDC in June; WWDC is a developer conference aim to focus on high-end software products. The second Generation Iphone SE would likely have a faster processor, rather than previous iPhone X-like features like a 3D sensing for Face ID, and wireless charging.
However, this is all assuming as the company has not clear whether they will bring changes in SE or they will discontinue it. Several analysts are assuming that there would be no new iPhone SE at all.
As the report suggested, Apple will keep things similar to iPhone X and offers almost similar design to the original SE, with the addition of a glass back, lose its home button just like X, wireless charging, also may lose its headphone jack which has become iPhone standard.
As per the report, in terms of specification the company is looking at an A10 Fusion Processors which was earlier seen in the iPhone 7 but that too an improvement as compared to original SE’s A9. SE 2 will remain at 2GB of internal RAM, an upgraded 7Mp Selfie Camera on the front and 12Mp rear-facing camera, an upgraded battery life from 1,640mAh to 1,700mAh and a storage option will be a choice of either 32GB or 128GB.
Given that the new second generation SE2 will have a luxury X-esque design on a smaller and cheaper handset with a fairly decent battery life.
