Happy skincare Sunday everyone here in the uk it is currently snowing and my planned day has been cancelled so instead of being at a hunter eventer trial and pony club rally I am at home with a face mask on Ann kuwtk on in the back ground with no plans of going outside till the snow clears.
I recently put in a Superdrug order for some new skincare products I really wanted to try and I wanted to do some honest impressions on what I actually thought about them and if I would recommend them to other people.
The first product I brought was the Garner SkinActive Micellar cleansing water because I heard really good reviews on it and removes Makeup easily. when I put it on my face the first thing I thought was that it smelt like Nail Varnish Remover; for me this is a big turn off as some of the chemicals I would use to remove my nail varnish I would not dream of putting on my arm let alone my face, however it does deserve some credit as it strips the makeup off my face quick and easy with just a little bit of product. on the whole I would tell my friends about this product yet I would warn them about the smell of it.
The second product is the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash which also says it removes makeup now once again it smells like nail varnish remover but does not do such a good job of removing makeup as the cleansing water. I would not recommend this product to anyone and would say save your money as it does about the same about of good as a makeup wipe.
The next product is the Nivea daily essentials extra gentle eye make-up remover which I found smelt lovely and was actually really good at taking off mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow and when I got a bit in my eye it did not hurt particularly. This is a product I would but again and again and I would recommend this to everyone.
The last product I purchased was the Garnier Skin Active Pure Active 3 in 1 Clay, the reason I brought it was because it helps oily skin which is what I was looking for as I have the most oily skin you can imagine and after the first time I used it all the oils had been removed and helped my makeup to go on much smother and last for longer. I would nit recommend this to anyone with dry or normal skin as it removes a lot of the oils but for anyone with oily skin this would be the first thing I would recommend.
I hope you all enjoyed this post and that you are all warm inside your homes.
