10 Easy and Sexy Valentine’s Day Cocktails Recipes You Should be Sipping on This February

Hey dolls! I hope this post is finding you all marvelous! I’ve been away for most days last week and I’m quite sorry…Things have been a pain at the office and home-wise but today I’m back to bring you 10 easy and sexy Valentine’s Day Cocktails Recipes! I know, nothing says sexy like a sexy drink to match lol. These recipes are all super easy and can set such a lovely tone to your Singleton’s Day or Valentine’s with your lover. So, keep going, let’s see what I have on the list for you babes!

1. Miami Beach Bellini

OK! So hear me out, have you ever got a little bored with a mimosa? Yeah, me too! Meet the mimosa 2.0 (that’s what I call it lol). I first had this drink at the beautiful Nikki Beach Barbados and it was quite tasty. It contains Champagne, peach juice and white peach liqueur. I’m not a big fan of peach but this was definitely a lovely surprise and here’s an easy recipe you can also try.

2. Strawberry Crush

I once made this at home when I was trying to find a way to use my strawberries before they spoiled and lol I guess this beats an organic fruit smoothie. I can’t remember where I got the recipe from but I saw it in a Cosmo post and they named it Strawberry Crush. All you have to do is crush 2 or 3 strawberries in a glass, and add a few basil leaves (sometimes I use mint).  Next, add 1 oz Strawberry Smirnoff Vodka and 1 oz lemonade. Stir well & voila!

3. Electrifying Lemonade

This is one of my faves of these 10 Easy and Sexy Valentine’s Day Cocktails Recipes, it’s a great way to reinvent your lemonade and is equivalently easy to making a shaken margarita. First, take your fancy glass, yes fancy cause you’re about to be saucing this V-day, and use one of your sliced lemons, drag across the top of the glass and dip on sugar or salt.

Now you’re going to take 3/4 oz Absolut Vodka & 3/4 oz Blue Curacao (if you don’t have these use any vodka and lol a few drops of blue food coloring to get the color). Add freshly made lemonade to your desired taste, to a cup with ice, cover and shake well then pour into your glass.

4. Sun Kissed Sangria

Everyone knows Sangria’s sound super tropical and relaxing. This is just a revamp to a simple Sangria recipe. You’re taking ½ oz peach schnapps, ½ oz triple sec, ½ oz cherry brandy, ½ oz DeKuyper’s apple pucker (or any sour apple schnapps), ½ oz orange juice, ½ oz pineapple juice, and 5 oz of red wine. Pour into a glass and top with Champagne. Talk about a fancy finish! *smirk*

5. Cotton Candy Champagne

Image taken from Cosmopolitan

This is super cute and SUPER easy, I also found this when I was on Cosmo and tried it a day I had left over champagne and my little cousin brought home cotton candy from a party lol. Perfect timing right? I thought so too, so this is what to do: grab your fave cotton candy flavors and place in your glass then pull out the big one and pour your champagne in. If it melts a bit no fear, you can simply add more and make the flavour richer.\

6. Coco-Mania!

This one’s for all the coconut lovers! It’s a simple coconut martini garnished really cutely. You’ll need 1.5 oz of vanilla vodka, 1 oz coconut rum (at home with have this wonderful coconut rum called Malibu, it’s honestly THE best), 1 oz cream of coconut and a little splash of pineapple juice. If you like coconut that much you can add a little bit of grated coconut. Pour into a cup and cover, shake well and pour into your glass. If you want it to be a little thicker you can blend it with a little ice.

7. Creamed Cafe Lover

Coffee liquor can be so yummy! This recipe calls for 1.5 oz Absolut Original, ½ oz Crème de Cacao, 1/4 oz vanilla puree, and 1 part room-temperature espresso. Shake all ingredients and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with whip cream and cinnamon or chocolate sprinkles or both!

8. Full of Spritz

If you read that fast you’d think you said full of spirits, and boy is this full of spirit! Add a couple crushed raspberries, strawberries and blackberries to your shaker along with 3.5 oz sherry, 1/2 oz lemon juice, and 1/2 oz simple syrup. Add ice and shake well. Double strain into a glass filled with fresh crushed ice. Garnish with blackberries, raspberries, lemon wheel, and the optional mint sprig.

9. Tequila Sparkler

In a shaker or your trusty cup (covered) filled with ice, add 1 oz Patron Tequila, 1/2 oz lime juice, and 1/2 oz simple syrup. Shake your heart out lol then strain into a glass. Next all you have to do is top with Champagne. You can choose to garnish with an apple slice or lemon slice.

10. Rose Pomegranate Martini

Image taken from A Beautiful Mess

I actually found this recipe on A Beautiful Mess (I LOVE this site btw) and thought it’d be a nice addition to this list. It’s fruity and it calls for 1.5 oz Vodka infused with white rose tea. How’s that for sophistication! It’s the right level of sophistication and easy, Elsie also calls for: 1.5 oz pomegranate juice, ½ oz sweet vermouth, 1 sprinkle each of cherry bitters and aromatic bitters, and 3-5 broken mint leaves.

All you have to do next is shake, and pour into a cocktail glass garnished with rose petal confetti, which would’ve been prepared by brushing honey to the side of your glass and dipping it in your cuts of rose petal.
