Inexpensive Ways to Celebrate Valentine’s Day!

Inexpensive Ways to Celebrate Valentine’s Day: The Broke Millennial Girl Guide!

Hey Dolls! I’m back this week with a killer guide starring 8 inexpensive ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day. It’s 1st February, which officially makes it the “month of love”. Every month should be the month of Love if you ask me but we know this month marks some tale of historic events or something like that. Nonetheless, it’s a beautiful time to show love and message shouldn’t be ignored. I previously talked about the Single Babe’s guide to Valentine’s but now I suppose this one is more targeted to couples.

Honestly, this is just another month so to heck with all the over-marketed tricks to make us spend more money, I mean this may just be the singleton in me, but there’s no rule saying you can’t love and be loved on a budget? Am I right?

Okay, so since we all established love should have a cost let’s dive into some rad and INEXPENSIVE ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day!

1. I Wrote This For You

I think the most romantic thing, is genuinely hearing or in this case reading all of the sweet nothings and somethings when someone professes their love to you. So this Valentine’s how about you draft yourself a letter addressed to that special someone and just pour your heart out. If you want to step it up a notch you could do a letter for every day leading up to the big V-day. Maybe even splash your fave scent on the paper to remind them of you…(lol not advise if the person has sinuses, you and your letter may be kicked out)

2. Filled With Love

If writing a letter may be too much for you, you can take a twist to my DIY positivity jar. In that post I took small slips of paper and scribbled beautiful messages to read to myself, then I drop them in a glass jar and open one almost every morning. Instead of this, you can scribble (obviously, in your sexiest handwriting tehe) love messages to your SO and drop them in a balloon. With that you can create a bouquet of balloons, each filled with a note for you babe to burst every morning leading up to V-Day!

3. Have a Movie Marathon

If you and your love ones are like me and live for watching cool flicks, a marathon maybe just what you need. There’s Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Showtime and even free streaming sites. You guys can get all snug with some wine and more wine of course, get giggly and enjoy each other’s company with your fave movies. This can be done as a couple are with your besties *Yayyy*

4. Valentine’s Scavenger Hunt?

OK, so imagine leaving cute little clues for your other half based on facts you know about each other and things you guys enjoy or moments shared. I think that’s super cute! So all you guys need to do is come up with a set of love clues to give each other and the first person to find the others hidden item(s) win. Not only is it fun but you get to feel all loved up doing it!

5. Fridges aren’t just for chores!

If you guys share a living space, more than likely there’s a fridge and at some point either of you MUST (cause food is the real babe) go in it. Leave little sticky notes on the fridge, making sure they’re in obvious spots to be seen, with heartfelt compliments. That’s a cute way to get some attention or maybe some extra TLC

6. Breakfast in Bed Anyone?

Do I even have to describe this one? I think not! Just get up earlier than your lover and prep some goodies, add them to a tray, get your sexy on and strut into that bedroom with ya love…Talk about a full course meal! *smirk*

7. Make Little Love Coupons

Lol, I know this sounds cheesy but it can be the cutest thing ever! Each coupon is redeemable for as long as you want it and can be cashed in whenever you allow it. It’s okay to be cheesy around this time of year, lol I pretty much think it’s the head time it’s encouraged. Get creative and feisty let your mate redeem some extra loving!

8. Get Office Sex-y

Ahaha! I know you dolls know it’s about to get risque…but honestly, if you’re both grown and consenting, maybe just show up to their off (please let it be a private office lol) and tease them a bit in some sexy lingerie! PS terms and conditions may apply, this can lead to way more than teasing so please be advised…

Well folks that’s it for today’s “Inexpensive Ways to Celebrate Valentine’s Day“, I hope you loved this segment. For the rest of the month I’ll be doing posts based on love I suppose lol. Next time may or may not be a lingerie edition or gifts for yourself. Don’t forget if you liked this post please show me with a little tap of the “like” button or comment maybe.
