Cockroaches, which irritates us by roaming in our kitchens and making them look dirty are Ancient insects? Can you believe it? Even they were present to irritate Dinosaurs. When I first read this fact, it really made me felt creepy as I can't imagine how it will be like to be in the forest with full of Cockroaches in ancient time.

  So I took this fact as my second case and started to investigate about it. After spending much time reading about Cockroaches, I finally come to one blog named Interesting Facts Of the World. There the blogger explained deeply about the existence of Cockroaches in ancient times. According to Blogger, Cockroaches came into existence between around 320 millions years ago while Dinosaur came into existence in between 231-243 million years ago.

  As there was no source of his claims, I simply cannot trust that blog. I have to dug up more. After searching for the an hour I came crossed a Dailymail news. The News suggested that 100 million years old was found trapped in Amber founded at Myanmar. The Cockroach is not like the cockroaches which we had seen. Refer the image below to get an idea about their ancient looks.

  The ancient cockroach is larger than present cockroach. They used to hunt for their food at night. They got large eyes with larger neck and rotating head. According to Researchers at Geological Institute of Bratislava, the hunting style of ancient cockroach was quite different than of present cockroaches because of their different structure. 

  So like humans, cockroaches had too evolved as the time passed. So fact that cockroaches appeared 120 millions years before Dinosaur is quite True and I give it True Stamp. CASE CLOSED.......
