I came across a Colony of Ants, I really do not like to stare so much at ants but there was something about this group of ants that caught my attention.

This colony grabbed my attention to an extent that I had to grab a chair to sit in order to get a convenient and more satisfying view of these creatures.

I observed these ants, passing a small whitish item to themselves. This item looked like a tiny piece gotten from a slice of bread.

I felt so intrigued and emotional seeing them on a straight line and passing this bread piece or crumb to themselves. They were so much organised and highly coordinated. I wish I could understand their language and what their intention was. But I could not even hear a sound.

I envied their ways and their level of cooperation. They looked so amazing. I could spend the entire day staring at them but I had other important things to attend to.

I didn’t want to leave because I wanted to see the end of what ever it is they were planning to achieve but unfortunately for me, I gave up my observation prematurely to attend to something important.

Something occurred to me as I left the great colony of ant to focus on other task and that thing is also a reflection I need to share with you.

The same way I stayed back to watch and Envy those ants movements, many people must have as well.

Am I right?

Many of us think our lives are not in the right order. We believe we are not doing things the right way.

We look down on ourselves with a mindset that we are nothing.

It gets to an extent that we want to give up on everything (that is, positive things) we are pursuing simply because life is not responding to our pursuit the way we want.

But we have forgotten one thing.

Like those ants whose coordination was so captivating, the ant that I envied so much to an extent that I craved to see its achievement after long observation and envy, like those ants, people are also watching you.

The life you think you are not living right, people envy it.

People are observing you with so much envy and admiration and they want to see you either succeeding or failing.

Don’t give up on your dreams no matter the challenge. The people that bring you down today are the same people envying you behind your back.

Whenever you start feeling like an outcast, raise your chin high (By raising your chin high, I don’t mean “Pride”) and imagine yourself to be a colony of ants that people envy so much.
