FACT OF LIFE

No matter how hard you have strived,

No matter how many good you have done,

Despite all the efforts you have put in to bring out the best in you and in others,

No matter how good your intentions may be,
You will still end up  being judged wrongly.

Fingers will be pointed at you for just one mistake you have made,

Your intentions will be misjudged,

Your actions will be questioned,

They capitalize on just one failure out of many successes,

They ridicule you and make you feel awkward and perplexed,

They disregard you.
It’s important to know that whatever atom of good you do in life, don’t ever do it simply because you want to get good in return or because you want the whole universe to say pleasant things about.

Do not expect people to respond positively to you always.

Remember that a Road isn’t always straight, sometimes, you come across sharp bends, portholes and ditches.

When you drive on a smooth road, you are called a pro but once you enter a porthole, you are called  amateur or reckless.

The same people who have praised you back then will be the same set of people to bring you down. That is just the simple fact of life.

They forget those times when you used to drive smoothly and capitalize on just one little error.

This happens often in Lagos, Nigeria where i reside.

See life as the road and see yourself as the driver and you will understand my point of view.

Endeavour to do things because you want to be fulfilled and because of  just one supernatural being, who neither sleeps nor slumber, the perfect one who will never misjudge your actions (GOD).

If you do things for God and for the sake of just doing it for self fulfillment, people’s ill words will never hit you.

You’ll see their words as an unpleasant Noise. Who loves the sound of an unpleasant noise? I don’t know about you, but for me i sometimes close my ears with my palms when i ear such noise or squeeze my face to show how much i detest such noise e.g the noise of an irritating humming truck. Come to Lagos and you’ll know what i am talking about.

Lastly, don’t expect too much positivity from people because

TOO MUCH EXPECTATION MAY LEAD TO MORTIFICATION
