8 p.m. and my flight landed. And there was a taxi waiting for me outside the airport, “perks of being famous, you don’t need to worry about all these things!”. as we reached the University, they welcomed me and then I was taken to the VC office, where they briefed me about the event which was an inauguration of a new library and gonna held tomorrow. I wouldn’t have come here if it wasn’t for my dad. Dad just can’t say no to his friend Debashish who was working here at this university for the last 11 years. Next day at 10 sharp the event started. I went on stage and all I could hear was flashes and woohoos of girls and between all this fame my eyes set on a girl. who was standing at the corner of the hall and was looking here and there totally pissed off and I saw that clearly in her eyes. I started my speech and during the entire speech, my eyes were just stuck to that girl. there was definitely something behind that annoyed face which I really wanted to discover.

I was speaking but my mind was wandering with her thoughts, that moment I wasn’t able to hear my own voice though I was saying everything right because I’ve done so much of these events because of my dad, but this girl had something, she seemed like a book worth reading, the book which could change your life. And maybe that day my life too changed a bit.
