Today, I have a fantastic interview to share with you that will give you some insight into the life of a Pro Blogger. I recently had the chance to interview Tiffany Griffin of Beautiful Dawn Designs, who explains how this entirely possible for you. Please give us a little background on yourself, how you started as a pro blogger, and how it’s going for you right now.

Hey! My name is Tiffany Griffin, and I run Beautiful Dawn Designs where I provide resources to help bloggers grow their blog and live their best life while doing it.

I actually got my start as an online entrepreneur in 2006 when I began creating and selling custom layouts and graphics for Myspace.

While I loved designing and enjoyed the opportunities that I had to get paid doing something I love, it was never something that I considered doing for a living.

After graduating college, I was offered a job position that I wasn’t passionate about. It was then that I considered the possibility of designing for a living. That’s how my business was born.

For the first few years, my business was booming. I will admit that I got lucky in the beginning. I was getting organic traffic, with little effort involved on my part.

However, after years of running a successful business, in 2014, the success of my business took a big hit. My organic traffic tanked, and I knew that if I didn’t do something fast, I would lose my business.

In 2015, I decided to leverage the power of Blogging as a way to rebuild my business.

Because of my blog, I was able to more than triple my monthly traffic and income. I’ve also been able to grow my email list to over 15,500 loyal subscribers and counting.

What is your favourite thing about blogging? What has it helped you to do?

I love blogging because it has allowed me to live my dream of making money doing what I love, while also helping others make their own dreams come true. It’s an amazing feeling!

Receiving messages from people telling me how much I’ve helped them build and grow their own blog is so awesome.

Why would someone need the training to do this type of work?

If you’re serious about growing a successful blog, I strongly recommend investing in training. On my journey of growing my own blog, there was A LOT of trial and error involved. There were moments when I wanted to give up.

The most important thing I’ve learned about blogging is that no magical technique will grow your blog fast. There are, however, tried-and-true strategies that when implemented, will allow you to grow your blog the right way.

When I started blogging, I had to learn a lot of things the hard way. In The Blogging Blueprint, I share what worked for me, so you won’t have to make the same mistakes that I did.

How much does it cost to start a blog and how much on a monthly basis to maintain it?

You can start a blog for free on a platform like Blogger or WordPress.com. However, if you want to blog professionally, I highly recommend getting started on the self-hosted WordPress platform (WordPress.org).

WordPress.org is a free online software; however, when you have a self-hosted WordPress blog, you will need to purchase a domain name and hosting plan for your blog. Domain names cost around $10.00 per year while hosting prices can range anywhere from $3.95 – $12.00 per month.

In the online space, self-hosted WordPress blogs are looked at as being more professional, which is why they’re a top choice for professional bloggers. Going self-hosted is easy, affordable, and will allow you to grow your blog without limitations.

What if you feel like you’re not up to being a pro blogger?

I recommend that everyone give blogging a try, whether you want to blog professionally or not. Some of the most successful bloggers started out blogging as a hobby, and their blog grew to be something more. If you aren’t up to being a Pro Blogger, start your blog as a passion project, and see where it takes you.

I always recommend blogging to my friends and family, because I know how amazing it is to be able to live my dream of helping others, all in the comfort of my own home!

What every newbie blogger wants to know;

How much can a new blogger expect to make if they implement your blogging strategies?

Unfortunately, I don’t have an exact number for this. When it comes to making money on your blog, a lot of times, people want to hear a magical formula that will help them increase their income.

The truth is, there is no one size fits all method for making money with your blog. How much money you make will be unique to you. This statement may sound cliche, but it’s so true.

If you follow the advice in The Blogging Blueprint, I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to make money within the first six months of starting your blog.

What can a person learn from your course? Can you tell us about some of the people who have successfully taken your course?

When I began blogging, I would spend countless hours reading blog posts, watching youtube videos, browsing forums, etc. for tips on growing my blog.

I found that a lot of the information out there was click-bait. People weren’t sharing any real strategies for how they grew their blog.

As a student of The Blogging Blueprint, you can expect to learn proven strategies for growing and monetizing a successful blog, all in one place. No more guesswork, no more wasted time.

After taking the course, one of my students was able to increase her pageviews from 1,500 monthly pageviews to 7,500 monthly pageviews and counting. Another student who was ready to give up on her blog was able to dramatically increase her pageviews, social media followers, and email subscribers. I think that is so awesome!

Lastly, are there any other tips that you have for someone who wants to become a pro blogger?

Six years into my business, I continue to love what I do. Not only have I made a positive impact in my life, and the lives of my family. But I know I’ve made a difference in the lives of my customers, and readers.

If you have a goal to start your own blog and become a pro blogger; I challenge you to follow your dream! No more excuses. Now is the time.

Growing a blog isn’t a get rich quick scheme. However, if you put in the work, and follow the advice in this course, you will have a HUGE head start towards having a successful blog.
