If you love the ever classic arcade games, it’s good news for you. Sega Forever is bringing a huge collection of its Sega games on Android pretty soon.
Remember Sega Genesis? It’s time to recollect those good old memories.
Sega today has announced its plans to launch several classic games under a new mobile games strategy called Sega Forever. It has, as a matter of fact, has already started things off with the launch of five Sega games on Android as well as on iOS devices. The games falling under the Sega Forever lineup will be absolutely free, with in-game ads of course.
As reported, the launch is going to take place this week with ports of five Sega Genesis titles:
- Altered Beast
- Phantasy Start II
- Kid Chameleon
- Comix Zone
- Sonic The Hedgehog
You can download the first five games of the Sega Forever series already from the Play Store (Links to download them given at the end as well) and enjoy the classic Sega games on Android devices.

The company has promised to bring new free games in the Sega Forever collection about every two weeks and will comprise of most of the Sega’s hot favorite gaming console titles, including the Saturn, even the Dreamcast too.
Sega Forever launch date
The launch date of the Sega Forever collection is supposedly June the 22nd. Apparently, the gaming titles which are supposed to be there on the debut are already available on the Android Play Store. While four of the five above mentioned Sega games are free of cost, Sonic still shows a price tag of $2.99.
This will surely go off pretty soon and this game would also become a free game as well pretty soon, hopefully.
