Today I am going to compare between the Original and the Fake Huda Beauty liquid matte lipstick.
** Let me let you that there are many fake copies available in the market and online, so the description of fake Huda Beauty that I bought might vary a bit.
The real Trendsetter is a beautiful brown nude which suits fair to medium skin tone and Icon is dark coral shade which looks good on all skin type.

Packaging
Fake Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick
I purchased two fake Huda Beauty liquid matte lipstick: Trendsetter and Icon. Both of them have different packaging.
Trendsetter: This one has surprisingly very similar packaging to the real one. Same acrylic rectangular tube with a black lid and a brush applicator to apply lipstick. Noone can figure out with the packaging that it is not real.
*I could only see one difference which is the label on the tube. The fake one has a simple sticker at the end with the name of the shade, unlike the real one which has more details on it.
Icon: The packaging of Icon is smaller in size as you can see in the picture. The seller told me that it is the mini Huda Beauty liquid matte. Unfortunately, I didn't know how mini Huda Beauty look like.
Formula
The formula of the fake Huda Beauty liquid matte lipstick is so similar to the real one. It is thin and dries in a minute.
The one thing which made me realize that the Trendsetter might be fake was the stickiness I felt on my lips. Once it dries it becomes sticky on lips which obviously no one likes. I tried exfoliating my lips and moisturize and then applying but in vain. Nothing worked out and the stickiness just didn't go away.
However, the Icon didn't feel sticky at all.
Fragrance
The real Huda Beauty liquid matte lipstick has a signature sweet fragrance which is not at all overpowering. But the fake one has weird, strong and very sweet fragrance.
Shade
Ah! When I bought these fake Huda Beauty lippies, I was only aware that the Trendsetter is one of the best selling nude shade and the Icon is another best selling shade. Ofcourse I wasn't aware of the exact shade by then.
The fake Trendsetter is light earthy nude shade and Icon is dark dirty pink shade.

So ladies, be aware and do not buy it from any store which does not claim it to be original. If you are buying from an Instagram seller then make sure you ask for the original invoice.
