My Take On M.A.C Fluidline Gel Liner Blacktrack

Packaging

It comes in a sturdy glass container, not prone to breakage (until thrown from a height) with a black screw cap on the top. I like glass packaging for Gel Liner as it helps to keep the consistency and the texture of the product maintained for longer period of time.

Texture and Shade

M.A.C Fluidline Gel Liner Blacktrack is a black gel liner. It is buttery soft to apply, glides on effortlessly on eyes. I love the consistency, it makes it quite easy to apply with an eyeliner brush. Though the shade is not the darkest black, I love to use it to line my upper eyelids and it is just perfect for creating a base for black smokey eyes.

(For smokey eyes, just use it as a base, blend it nicely and apply a transition shade and top it up with a black or brown eyeshadow. It will not crease whole day)

** If you want a detailed blog post or mini video for how to create smokey eyes, do tell me in the comment section below, I would love to create one for you.**

Gel liners tend to dry faster, so it is advised to blend it fast to create the desired look. It is water resistant and does not easily comes off.
I have used it for more than 7 hours and it stayed intact on my eyelids and did not budge or wore off.

I have tried Maybelline and L'Orèal gel liners before M.A.C Fluidline and I have found M.A.C Fluidline the smoothest to apply. It is extremely light on eyes.
If you like intense black eyeliners, then I would suggest you buy L'Orèal gel liner which gives darkest black eyeliner application and comes with a brush too.

If you like a soft black look on your eyes, then M.A.C Fluidline Blacktrack is the perfect shade for you. I like to use it so as to achieve soft black smudged liner and if I want intense black I like to use a liquid liner instead.

Pros

- Smooth and soft application.
- Doesn't budge.
- Water-resistant.
- Stays on for hours.
- Easy to remove with makeup remover or cleanser.
- Helps to create a soft black lined look.
- Perfect base for smokey eyes.

Cons

- It is not the darkest black in shade. I love it but for some, it might be a dislike.
- It doesn't come with an eyeliner brush like Maybelline and L'Oréal gel liner. You have to buy it separately.
I use my Inglot angled eyeliner brush.

Overall, I love the M.A.C Fluidline Blacktrack as it helps to create a softly smudged liner look which I love to wear the most and it stays on my oily eyelids for long. Doesn't smudge or wear off at the end of the day.
If you are looking for a good quality gel liner, then you must try M.A.C as you won't find any other brand this soft and smooth for flawless application.

I hope you find it helpful. Do let me know in the comment section below if you have tried this!! Any suggestions and recommendations are welcome.

Thank you for visiting my blog!!

Much Love
