 Emmerson Mnangagwa to be sworn in as Zimbabwe President

Former Zimbabwean vice president, Emmerson Mnangagwa, is to be sworn in as President of Zimbabwe. Emmerson Mnangagwa, who was recently sacked by Incumbent president, Robert Mugabe, was involved in a series of controversial issues resulting in military takeover in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwean local sources also reported that Emmerson Mnangagwa. would be sworn in Wednesday, 22 November, 2017 to replace Robert Mugabe who has spent 37 years in power.

Mr. Mugabe had reportedly paved a way for his wife, Grace Mugabe to take over from him as the leader of Zimbabwe's ruling party, Zanu-PF, ahead of the country's general election scheduled for next year, 2018

75 years Emmerson Mnangagwa was sacked by Mr. Mugabe after being accused of disloyalty ad insurbodination.

Mr. Emmerson Mnangagwa is very popular among Zimbabwe's war lords.
