Roaring 60s designs

During the sixty the main trend was having floral patterned wallpaper. The colours: green, yellow,  orange, pink and there shades were a very popular in the designs. Not only were the Colours used in the wallpaper or furniture they were also incoropated into chair seats, cushions, pillows, carpet and etc. During the Sixties, Indian patterns were very much incorporated into the design also. The designs were very much pop art and had bold and strong colours throughout the design. When I think of the sixties, I think lava lamps, and flower power. During the sixties there was very much two different designs there was the modern sixties and the normal sixties. The modern sixties was very much a white design with hints of colour and weird seating such as the egg chair which was white around the outside and red on the inside. The main key element that were focused on in the designs were space, colour and form.

Underneath is a wonderful living with a hint of sixties with the bold artwork and colour on the back wall and the patterns used within the design.
