2019 Cadillac Escalade – Engine and MPG
New 2019 Cadillac Escalade SUV will inherit the same engine from its predecessor. It will be a powerful 6.2-liter V8 petrol engine. This mill is capable of producing 420 horsepower @5600 and 460 lb-ft of torque. It will be paired with 10 Speed Automatic Mode Select with Manual Mode. The standard MPG figures for this powertrain will be 14 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the open road. If the future owner decides to have AWD model the fuel consumption will be slightly higher. If we know that this model is a full-size SUV its acceleration is less than 6 seconds from 0 to 60 mph sounds amazing. The towing power is also very respectable and it will be around 8,400 pounds.

2019 Cadillac Escalade – Exterior and Interior
The design of the new Escalade will stay intact. All familiar Cadillac’s lines and curves will stay the same. The body will come on 20-inch aluminum wheels as standard, but if necessary they can grow to a 22-inch size. The LED day lights will be standard for all models. This counts for headlights but also for taillights. Inside will be very roomy and can accommodate seven passengers. All details will be covered with leather and wood parts. The front seats will come with heaters and for upper trims with massaging set too.
If new owner decides all seats can be sheeted with Mulan leather. The dashboard is very functional and oriented to the driver. The big 8-inch touchscreen is equipped with the latest infotainment system from Cadillac. For some extra money, the 7-inch screens can be upgraded for the passengers on the rear bench. The surround sound system comes with 16 speakers.
Price and Availability
The price of the new Escalade SUV is very respectable. It starts at $75,000 for the base model. The 2WD 4dr Luxury trim will cost additionally $5,000 while the Platinum model will be around $94,000. If you decide to have AWD system that will cost you $3,000 more. The 2019 model will be available in dealerships in mid-2018.
