2018 Honda Jazz Facelift

The 2018 Honda Jazz Facelift is one the company’s latest reveals. With a bunch of general feature revisions, this car is now aggressively sportier. Additional technological and physical improvements will without a doubt make it the better option among its rival counterparts such as the Volkswagen Polo.

However, most of the changes to the Honda Jazz are rather subtle. Even so, it now has a more aesthetic and sharper appearance.

2018 Honda Jazz – Remarkable Design

In the front, the bumper has a new sharpened shape. This version has adopted the signature Solid Wing Face with its headlight and grille design. The 2018 Honda Jazz is now fitted with a black sportier and more athletic grille. An additional lower section, a black strip linking to the grille, is another reason for the vehicle’s new look.

To sharpen its fascia, even more, new LED headlights and daytime running lights have replaced the old light features. The new design integrates fog lights with a black housing enclosures and wider side air intakes. Furthermore, the side profile also has a new appeal thanks to its glossy black 16’-inch alloy wheels.

The rear-view mirrors are no different with their black appeal that completely blends with the vehicle’s overall profile. The rear also has a few notable adjustments. With the LED taillights, a rear bumper and an additional roof spoiler, the Honda Jazz have never looked better.

Interior Features

Much of the Honda interior remains unchanged. There is, however, a significant number adjustment made to it. For one the Honda Jazz gets a new upholstery, which incorporates a pinstripe pattern giving it a new look. The wheel and the gear knob come leather wrapped. Even better, the seats are high fabric leather with an enhancing orange stitching detail.

The orange stitching is also applied to the wheel and the gear knob and basically all-around the cabin. The boot space is no disappointment either, offering up a pretty decent amount of luggage space.

Safety and Technological Additions

The Honda has gone out of its way to ensure the car is a safe drive. The car is fitted with six rollover sensor airbags, brake assist and an Electric Brake Distribution (EBD). Driver assist features include Pedestrian Collision Mitigation Steering System, Lane Keeping Assist System and also a Collision Mitigation Collision System, among other features.

Engine that powers the new 2018 Honda Jazz

The 2018 Honda Jazz is powered by a 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol engine which gives off a 128 horsepower. The company claims that the CVT system itself has been revised to deliver a more refined response under acceleration. For now, there is not much info about acceleration, top speed or EPA rating.

Launch Date and Price

The launch of the 2018 Honda Jazz will be in late 2017, around November. Like its older version, the car’s price is expected to range from $17000. With this subtle transformation, the 2018 Honda Jazz Facelift will definitely give its competitors a run for their money. This new improved version is indeed a worthy buy.
