Starring Jason Statham, there are very few moments in this movie that is not at breakneck speeds. The plot is also something new and interesting.

Back to the future series

One of the all-time classics it combines the love for cars and time travel into a movie that has stood the test of time. The story-telling, humor, and acting are all a class act and combined with a very imaginative script, it gives us a group of very entertaining movies based on a car that doubles up as a time machine.

Rush

Hearkening back to a time when Formula 1, the pinnacle of motorsport, was extremely dangerous and multiple drivers died over a season, this movie showcases the intense rivalry of two of the best drivers in the sports. The storytelling is gripping and the race sequences are filmed so wonderfully that you will feel like you are inside the driver’s helmets. A must watch for any motorsport enthusiast.

Drive

A gripping tale of a stuntman by day and a getaway driver by night, it is perfect for people who love the cool, quite yet dangerous protagonist who does not break under immense pressure. It is a story of how the hero gets into trouble for helping someone and how he manages to get out of it.

Gone in 60 seconds

Starring Nicholas Cage, this is a wonderful heist movie that is based around cars. The protagonist has to steal 60 cars in a single night or else his brother dies. This movie showcases some of the rarest, most expensive and iconic cars of all time and deserves a viewing just for that alone.

The Italian Job

Another heist movie that also features an ensemble of some of the very talented actors and actresses in Hollywood. It involves a crew of highly trained robbers and is a story of relationships, betrayals, redemption, and revenge.

The story is gripping and the action sequences will have you on the edge of your seats. The ending is also witty.

The Transporter series

If pure action is what you crave then few movies can come close to the ones in The Transporter series. Starring Jaso Statham at his best, it is a movie of survival and the race against time interspersed with some of the best action sequences ever seen on a movie screen.

Mad Max, Fury Road

The reboot of the popular Mad Max series, this movie takes it to new heights. Set in a futuristic landscape and starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron at their absolute best, it is a great movie of survival and female empowerment. Vanishing point

One of the all time classics, this move from the ’70s might lack the special effects or action sequences of modern movies but makes up for it in its fast paced and complex storytelling and excellent acting.
