The House of Labhran was established in 1998 as an online Highland wear and design studio. Based on Speyside in the heart of the Highlands we specialise in bespoke designed bagpipe banners, baldric sashes, regimental embroidered insignia and historical pattern insignia and accoutrements for re-enactors.

The House of Labhran has designed and created regimental embroidery since 1998. Over the years we have designed a wide range of Drum Majors baldrics, bagpipe banners and insignia for clients around the world. Hand embroidered in gilt wires and silks on a fine blazer cloth and supplied to the Scottish Regiments, British Army, Parachute Regt, Canadian Regiments USMC, USAF banners, Fire & Rescue, Police, civilian pipe bands, clan chiefs banners, company banners and private clients.
With previous film and television clients projects including: The National Theatre of Scotland -The Black Watch, Royal Regiment of Scotland, The English National Opera, Warner Brothers Film, The Age, Billy Budd, Wonder Women, The Four Feathers, The Crown, Victoria and Abdul and many more.
We will be mixing finished embroidery projects and some of the research that goes into a House of Labhran embroidery project.
