Knowingly or unknowingly, our Bharatian society has some of the superstitions listed here. Check out superstitions of other countries through images.

1. To lead a life, English is a must.
2. Learning English is a matter of prestige.


3. In this era, there will not be anybody who do not know English.
4. Hindi is our national language.


5. English is greater than Hindi.
6. If someone goes and settles down in a foreign country, then he/she will forget our native (Bharatian) culture, food, dressing sense, overall lifestyle, etc.


7. All movies in Sandalwood are useless.
8. There is nothing new 'to be proud of' in Karnataka or Bharata.


9. One language is enough for Bharata.
10. Following a caste/religion imported from a foreign country means we have to go against our nation and national unity.


11. Since i am a Christian, i should live like westerner (speak fluent English, dress like westies, eat only junk food like westies, listen to only musics of west, read only novels of west, etc) and my name should be taken from English language.
12. Since i am a Muslim, i should live like Arabs/Iranians (dress like them, eat food like them, etc) and my name should be taken from Arabic language.


13. South Bharatians are Dravidians who are native to this land and North Bharatians are Aryans who came from somewhere else to our land.
14. Since i am a Christian, i should respect Vatican first.


15. Since i am a Muslim, i should respect Saudi, Iran or any other Muslim country first.
16. All major achievements were done only in foreign countries.


17. To live a prestigious life, it is mandatory to pursue either engineering or medical.
18. It is like living in hell if someone starts agriculture.


19. Only farmers commit suicide.
20. Pope (or religious leaders from Saudi/Iran) is like God's equivalent or God's representative on this earth.


21. Bharata is not safe for women and religious minorities.
22. We should not speak Kannada in office as there will be people from multiple languages.


23. If a Spanish guy mixes up one or two Spanish words/sentences while talking in English then it is ok, not a problem. But if a Kannadiga mixes up one or two Kannada words/sentences while talking in English then whole sky will fall down on our head.
24. Since i am a Christian/Muslim, i should vote for congress political party.


25. Whole world is filled with English or everyone in this world use English. Hence English is superior than Kannada (or your native Bharatian language).
26. If there was no "caste based reservation", then all minority(Christianity, Islam, etc), SC, ST castes would have disappeared now.


27. Everything said/done by western countries is great and truthful - they never commit any mistakes because they are very advanced socities.
28. Studying anything in a foreign country is great because quality of education is very poor in all the fields in our nation.


29. If someone studies arts in one of the universities/collges in Bharata then that is simply waste. But if that same person goes to a foreign country to study the same subject (arts) then that will satisfy his life's meaning.
30. Only those candidates "who have studied in a well known educational institute in a metropolitan cities like Bengaluru or Delhi" will have good knowledge/skill. Candidates who have studied in government educational institutes in an unknown village will not have good knowledge/skill.
(This point is based on my recent experience in one of the companies i worked for. Two members of H.R team who seems to have come out of an interview session were discussing something like this. When i heard that, i felt - "then what is the meaning of Village talents or don't they know about village talent or have they not heard the words "village talent" or according to them, is Bharata filled with metropolitan cities like Bengaluru/Delhi or is all talent in Bharata coming out of only metropolitan cities"?!)


31. If i am taking an interview, then i should give first priority to candidates who have studied in some foreign country. Because, studying in foreign country is a life time achievement. Candidates who have studied in foreign are greater than those who have studied in Bharata.
32. Groom must be working as an engineer or a physician (doctor) or must be working as a government employee, only then our daughter will live happily after marriage, otherwise our daughter will not live happily after marriage.


32. Brits (britishers) did not have any intention to convert Bharata into Christianity. Because of that only Hindus are still in majority :-D
33. Bharatian Railway, Roads, etc all are the gifts of Brits to Bharata :-D
34. There will be no superstitions present in so called developed countries, superstitions are present only in Bharata :-D
