How to enable Push Notification for more traffic and subscribers

1) First, create a PushEngage account here.

The free account allows 2500 subscribers, with unlimited push messages per month. For small and medium sized blog, it’s enough.

2) After signing up your new account, you need to add the blog’s name and logo. Which is very nice for branding of your blog.

3) Add plugin > Add new > Search “PushEngage” > Install and activate. Link.

4) After plugin installed, click on PushEngage on Dashboard. You need an API key from your PushEngage account to activate the plugin. The image below will show you how to get the API Key

5) Go to settings > Installation settings then add your logo for your brand identity.

6) In the next step you have to set up subscription dialog box which is the prompt user will see. Select “Single Step Optin” and “Safari Style Box”.

7) In the dashboard you can see the existing subscribed users and using send the notification tab to send custom push messages.

You can also see a push notification option in post writing section.

Important to note that sending too many push notification frequently will annoy  users, so do push messages on important posts.
