Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja and his wife Riva Solanki, who are expecting their first child, are now blessed with a baby girl. On April 17 last year, Jadeja got married to Reva, who is a mechanical engineer by profession. Jadeja is currently playing in the second match of the ICC Champions Trophy against Sri Lanka.

According to the NDTV SPORTS, the news of pregnancy came out this year in March when Jadeja in an interview had said: “I had to leave my pregnant wife behind. Family matters a lot to me, but it was also necessary to be part of the team with an important match coming up against Pakistan.”
He further added: “Since the family is there to take care of her even they felt that I should play as that’s more important and I decided to do the same.”

Ravindra Jadeja’s Career
On 8 February 2009, Ravindra Jadeja debuted in International cricket in the final match of the series against Sri Lanka. He along with Ravichandran Ashwin became the first pair of spinners to be jointly ranked number 1 bowler in ICC Test Rankings history.
