Today’s post is about the most amazing Lip range by Maybelline. The Lip Gradation range is basically to create ombre lips which are very much in trend but mostly restricted to the ramp. I did buy it to try the ombre effect on my lips but majorly it was the colors in this range which excited me the most. There are 8 shades in this range out of which I bought 3, Fuschia1, Pink2 and Orange1.

Available in 8 bright matte shades. This double-sided lip product will inspire you to experiment with your looks and bring out your unique style and personality. The color stick at one end will give a gorgeous pop of color while the cushion blender tool at the other end will give a sexy, graded look. For a complete trend-on look, apply color on the center of your upper lip and use the sponge smudger to extend the color to the outer edges till the contours of your lips or use it as a matte lip color or a lip liner.
My experience with the product:
Packaging:
It comes in a sleek pen like packaging and it is double sided. One end has the product and the smudger on the other end. The color of the body matches exactly the color of the lip gradation. It is little confusing because you need to twist the lower end for the product to come up.
Texture:
The texture of the lip gradation is absolutely amazing. It is very light and creamy. you will not feel that you have anything on your lips. Even after it dries matte, it is very comfortable to wear.
Color:
Like I mentioned earlier, I love the bright poppy colors in this range. They are quite opaque. One swipe and you are good to go. I did try the ombre lips but it didnt look good on me because my lips are pigmented. Also its quite long lasting. Easily survives for 4 to 5 hours with light meals
Overall this is a good product. I wouldn’t say that I am completely impressed. The price I feel is too high for the amount of product you are getting. Also, for me it didn’t serve the basic purpose of lip gradation but I am happy using it just like a lipstick. Most of the colors in this range are bright and may not suit all skin types. But if you are looking for bright matte lipsticks, do give these a try.
