Military Diet Week 1 Day 1

So I’ve decided to review the Military Diet over the next two weeks to see what it’s like for the readers of my blog. The diet is extremely popular and has had some great feedback in terms of results. The next two weeks I’ll be blogging daily on the diet what I thought of each days menu and how I personally feel as sometimes a fast change in diet could result in emotions changing. 

My weight at the start of the diet is: 20.5 stone.


Day 1 Menu:

Breakfast: 1 slice of bread/toast with a tbsp of peanut butter (I used chunky) and a cup of tea or coffee (No milk or sugar). I drank Ginger and Lemon tea. You also have the option of having Grapefruit but as I’m not a fan of Grapefruit I decided not to have it.

Lunch: 1/2 cup tuna, slice of bread/toast and coffee or tea (no sugar or milk). I opted for a plain old cup of tea with this meal.

Dinner: 3oz bit of meat (I opted for fillet steak), 1/2 cup green beans,  1 small apple and 1/2 banana with 1 cup of vanilla Ice Cream for dessert.


My Thoughts:

So day 1 is over and boy it was hard to avoid chocolate after going to the shops and seeing galaxy ripples on offer but I did it. The best part of the day had to be the Fillet Steak (I was naughty and seasoned my steak with a bit of sea salt) and close second was the Ice Cream and banana. During day 1 I have not felt hungry at all which is to be expected however tomorrow I may start to feel a bit of hunger, I’ve felt that the portion sizes are good too.

I would like to point out I’ve also done a little 30 minute workout at the end of the day, the exercises I done were from the DVD; Insanity.

The diet is of cause a crash diet which is not exactly the best thing to do, the reasons I have taken up this is due to seeing so many people ask about it. I thought I’d do it for 2 weeks then see my results.
