The Most Important Part of the Day

Tags: busy stuff forget
The other day, when I was going through my 2500 agendas I have, I stared at all the things I have (want) to do. All the assignments, and appointments I have to make, etc.
I never realize how Busy I really am, because I get caught up in the pace of society, and I get easily addicted to the feeling of being busy. The problem with that is, I start to put myself on the back-burner and say " I'll deal with me later, I'll relax next week when all this stuff is done..." The thing is, there is ALWAYS "stuff to be done". I didn't know I was a busy person until my friend mentioned it to me the other day.
For me, I see being busy as a negative, not a positive thing like most people see it. For me, when I am too busy I Forget about myself. I'm always writing To-Do lists, and jotting down goals and intentions for the day but I never put anything down about taking care of myself. I know almost everyone does this; we forget that taking care of ourself is a job in it's own. It might sound silly to write down on your TO-DO list, to take care of yourself, or rest; but writing that down is 10X more important than anything else you have written down there. Don't feel embarrassed for taking time for yourself. Take time to meditate and get your mind right, have a bath, go to bed early...taking care of yourself, and putting time into making yourself happier and healthier is the smartest move you will ever make. Take the time to, to make time for you without feeling guilty about it, because no matter how busy (or not busy) you are, you deserve to take care of yourself.
