CWWC 2018: Made New

Hey, ya’ll!

My month off was great, thanks for asking. I actually really missed writing for the blog. Though it was a relief to be free of the pressure of OH NO, I NEED A NEW POST.

On that little sidebar to the left, you’ll find the Stories Tab. Inside the stories tab, there is a tab labeled CWWC. I can’t remember what it stands for, and I’m too lazy to dig and find out.

It was an event held by Loren from Killjoy back when she still used Let’s be Lost. It was a group story/poetry competition in which scoring was based on how many of the provided prompts were used per written peace. There were about ten-ish story Prompt posts in the entirety of last August. It was one of the most fun events I’ve ever done. You can see the little badge for my team’s third place win (granted, there were four teams, BUT WE WEREN’T LAST AND THAT’S THE IMPORTANT THING!) Unfortunately, the contest will not be held again.

My friend Jess from The Artful Author proposed to me this idea:

Hold the CWWC between the two of us.

Personally, I don’t really have too much to Write about (or time to write, come to think of it), so it’s a perfect solution.

The way this thing is going to work, is I’m going to add three images to the post which can be anything of my choosing and can relate to one another or be wildly different. Her challenge is to write a story using at least one of them. She’s going to do the same for me. I personally, like to see if I can use all of them. In fact, I came up with a novel concept last year because I used all three prompts in a story from last year.

Plagiarized part of Jess’s post introducing this topic: If any of you would like to write stories based on the prompts, comment or link to the post, and I might link to them in upcoming posts.

Heyo, Jess. Here are my prompts for you. Good Luck! Like, seriously. Good luck. I have no clue what I picked out. I seriously just scrolled through Pinterest randomly tapping on pins.

(I do not own these images in any way shape or form)

I have no idea what you’re going to do, but I’m excited to see it happen.

MWAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH.
