Whatsapp is still a standalone application from Facebook which faced many competitors so far but it still has remained on the top. Recently we've seen the Google Allo which features most of the features from Whatsapp and some features that WhatsApp doesn't even have.
So for the users who even though stuck to WhatsApp but need more features, this post today is for you. Whatsapp Extensions is a Xposed module that has added some extra and demanded features for the standard Whatsapp application.
The features include:
- Option to directly call over phone.
- A reminder that reminds you to reply to a chat.
- Lock facility to each chat.
- Custom wallpaper to each chat.
- Highlight a desired chat.
- Hide your last seen.
- Permanently archive chat.
- Hide delivery reports.
- Hide camera button from bottom bar.
- Zoom profile pictures.
- Replace call button.
- Click messages to reply/forward/see info.
Bug:
If your internet connection is off and you receive a text from somebody, after connecting back to internet, delivery reports will be sent.
Directions to use:
-To unarchive personal chats, first unhide them from the menu and long press the chat and then click on 'Unarchive' button from the top WhatsApp bar.
-Don't forget to restart WhatsApp once you unhighlight a chat
