Congratulations!

Congratulations to the winner of my first contest, who has now been notified.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to my one year old son for making the random selection. I hope that my next contest will be bigger and will require a more technical approach to selection than a few names on paper and drawn from a toy dump truck.

The winner has requested to remain anonymous, but was an email subscriber and decided to go with the Ipod. We all know you are going to use it as a re-gift Mr or Mrs Anonymous! No worries though, I do it after every X-mas!

AdWords $s

January 03, 2009 0 comments

I hope everyone had a great New Years!

To start off my new year, I thought I would try something new. I started my first AdWords campaign today. I have paired it with Affiliate Marketing and hopefully I will make some $s from it. I am not going to give out the keywords, because I don't want you all running up my bill or competing with me! lol Here is the landing page for you to go and check out though. Feel free to participate. I will update as to how it is doing later.

Give feedback on what you think. Once again this is my first campaign and first time building a landing page, so be nice.

When bad men combine, the good must associate

December 28, 2008 0 comments

After much internal debate, I decide to go ahead and post the information I am about to give you. Why the conflict? The last thing I want to do is to spread this information to those who may use it in a way other than my intentions. So, what are those? To stop this sickness and protect yours and my children from these pedophiles!

I came across this article on Digg and was amazed and sickened! On the Web, Pedophiles Extend Their Reach I know it is a few years old, but I am sure that this has not changed and is probably only getting worse. With the explosion of Social Networking comes an increasingly accessible outlet for the dark side of humanity.

With only a few minutes of research I was able to discover several sites devoted to people who "love" boys or girls and they are not referring to love as in protecting and fostering self respect and education. Not to mention a disturbing post about a well known site that I frequent. I don't really know the truth to this story, so you can read for yourself and the comments are also quite interesting. Erik Möller, No. 2 at Wikipedia, a defender of pedophilia

Here is one such site that was quite easy to find. http://www.boychat.org/ It appears to be a forum for pedophiles to discuss whatever, as I did not actually read any.

How do you know if someone is a professed pedophile?

Look for these symbols.

This is the symbol for "girl love", called GLogo

This is the symbol for "boy love" called BLogo

This is the symbol for "Childlove Online Media Activism", CLOMAL

This is the symbol for all-encompassing pedophilia, CLogo

If you see someone with one of these symbols on their clothing, jewelry, social networking site, etc., they are a pedophile or are in support of them.

Here is some information from our "Friends?" over at Wikipedia. Pro-pedophile activism At least take a look so you know the width and depth of this cancer. I think it may be helpful to have a conversation with your kids and familiarize them with these symbols, so they know who to avoid.

The worst part of all of this is that with the internet these pedophiles can easily and often anonymously congregate and try to justify the actions of each other. They even have a universal symbol for this online movement, as seen above (CLOMAL). This symbol would be used on social networking sites, blogs, websites, etc...

I hope this information has been helpful to you and your children.

Music Reviews, Game Reviews, Movie Reviews and more!

December 26, 2008 0 comments

I just found a site that I wish I would have found before I started buying X-mas gifts. The site is called EverHYPE and is for Pop Music Reviews, but it is so much more than that. You can read and give reviews on Movies, Games as well as the music reviews. It is setup like a social networking site, in that you can create your own profile and have friends, with one little twist, the other users can rate you and you’re HYPEs. Your user rating can go from a “novice” to “God Like”. The more ratings and discussions you have the better your score is.

Do you love to talk with friends about movies you just watched or games you just played? Do you like to start or join conversations about music that you like or dislike? If you said yes, then I recommend going over and checking it out. The site has a great design and is very user friendly.

So, why did I say that I wish I had found this earlier? We got a game for our Wii that just isn’t up to my standards (AMF Bowling: Pinbusters), clearly if I would have done a little more research on a site like this, I would have know that. It got a 53% on EverHYPE, but I think it is worse than that. That's whats great about this, like it or dislike it, you can give the world your opinion.

I would hope that companies are on these sites as well, learning and studying how to better their products.
