Ok, so now the taper has really started, honest, cross my heart and everything :-)
I kept the intensity high this week with a fartlek, a tempo and fast 5K, but cut down on the mileage by pretty much halving the normal distance I have been running. I rounded off the week with a PB at Cardiff parkrun of 19:10, which was another nice confidence booster in these final couple of weeks before Rock N Roll Liverpool.
