InkTober 2016

Every October, artists all over the world take on the InkTober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month.

It’s a fun annual Drawing Challenge set forth by artist Jake Parker. The challenge is to do one ink drawing a day for the entire month of October. Parker created Inktober challenge in 2009 and has invited everyone to join him in this exercise. But like any challenge there are a few rules.

Rule One: Make a drawing in ink
Rule Two: Post it online
Rule Three: Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2016
Rule Four: Repeat every day of October

You can do it daily, or go the half-marathon route and post every other day, or just do the 5K and post once a week. What ever you decide, just be consistent with it. InkTober is about growing and improving and forming positive habits, so the more you’re consistent the better.

The Official 2016 Inktober Prompt List:

The Prompt List is a suggestion list to help guide you on what to ink during the month. For more info about Jake Parker and InkTober check out his website here: http://mrjakeparker.com

I’m excited to be participate in the InkTober challenge again this year.  I’ll be posting my inks here, Twitter and Instagram. It’s going to be an amazing fun month!
