Hey everyone,
I thought I should let you all know what Kri's Car Looked like, What I looked like and what I look like now. So this Accident happened on 9-25-2012, I was in a horrible car accident. I drove a 1994 Mx6 Mazda. It saved me of course from dyeing and passing out seemed to of helped that also. I was hit in the driver side rear ( as you can tell in the photo), and my head smashed the driver side window which you can see there is no glass.. I was knocked unconscious Honestly from my memory of what happened I was in the mist of turning in the middle lane. You know that turn lane to go left or right? yeah, that one.. I was about to do a U-turn when no one was coming towards me..
WELL!!!! I remember knowing no one was coming, and when i was doing the turn, BAM! Well, I don't remember the sound, or anything.. the bam indicates me being knocked unconscious obviously, I remember looking at my speed dial and I can still clearly remember it saying 30 and the speed limit is 45 on the road I was going. Im not sure how long I was out, or how many minutes had passed but I woke up on the other side of the road, The way I was wanting to go, at a complete stop. Car still in drive, at a complete and udder stop. I remember growing up being told always get out of the way of the on coming traffic, and there was traffic coming.. So i moved my car to the parking lot that was maybe 5ft away from where my car was sitting with me in it.. So once I had moved my car, and turned it off.. I moved my hands to my face because i felt like crying.. Thats when i felt glass, and thats when i turned my head to look at my window.. It was shattered.. Thats when i knew what had happened.. I was in a car accident.. Thats when i started to cry, and thats when i noticed my long sleeve shirt and skinny blue jeans were covered in my Blood.. They were drenched.. I got out of the car slowly after crying a few minutes and wiping glass from under my left eye ( the side that got cut and such) and spitting some blood up because i had bitten off some of my tongue.. =[ Bad day isn't it? Well as soon as i gotten out of my car I looked toward the road noticing a lot of people noticing me and running to my aid and the other vehicle in the middle of the road where I last remember I was at before waking up.. Well I started to walk a little bit but I was so light headed and very not here.. Like I was there but mentally I was off on another planet or something but I remember what had happened from this experience. After a moment of walking, maybe five seconds of walking to see if the other lady was hurt or anything.. But I had a rush of I NEED TO SIT! so I sat on the curb by my car.. When i sat down i stared at the ground and I heard some lady yelling asking if i was ok as she ran up to me.. I looked at my car, and let me tell you from the picture I am giving you to my memory of what i thought i saw.. It didn't look so bad, maybe need to fix my tail light and get a new window for the one i busted out, and yes I really thought that.. So, the lady came to me, called the police and the ambulance.. We couldn't get my blood to stop and it was obvious it was not stopping which is why she probably said this.. So i asked her to call my mom, and she agreed as i handed her my phone.. Within three minutes the cops, am,ambulance, and fire truck had shown up. The ambulance workers were asking me questions and so were the cop at the time. The cop could only get enough out of me to find out if i had a drivers license which i did, and barely could get it out of my purse when the nice lady whom called my mom handed it to me. Well I was rushed the the hostipal where they finally stopped the bleeding, and sewed me up.. I was being sewed up for a hour long process which took FOREVER and I was high on morphine.. I was in such a happy mood the entire time that the nurses kept asking me to lay back down XD.. I ended up having a neck fracture in one of the ribs which i had a neck brace for but to be honest I never wore it because i felt like I was being choked XD.. Bad me but my doctor said I didn't need it. Well, after everything that happened my boyfriend rushed to the E.R where I was, and he brought me flowers, I have the sweetest boyfriend alive, and we had just started officially dating five days prior which that day, 25th of September my mom found out about him and they met XD. The accident happened at 8:30 am in the morning, and I didn't leave the E.R until 7pm... XD This is the story of my day!

I wasn't allowed to work or go to school for a while but I was too out of it to do anything from the morphine and the meds I was taking. I suffered from a concussion which leaves me with some brain and memory problems which I had looked at, and I seem to be doing alright now then comes with my scars that i have acquired but thankfully i have a great plastic surgeon whom is going to make it all beautiful again! I went through physical therapy because my right arm wasn't strong at all!
Here is the picture right after I got my bandages off.. Which was the next day. I am sorry for the horrid image you are about to see XD By the way, my eye was left unharmed.. I suffered no damages that I am aware of! (yay!) And the shirt I am wearing in this picture is ironicly the one that I was in the accident with.. Its a very comfy shirt and my clothes don't look like they ever had blood on it XD
I am doing alright though. My pretty face is still here its just lost under scares, stitches, clogged blood and ointment which recently (now that it has been almost two months) is just some soft unsightly scares that i try to cover with makeup. I am trying to keep as positive as possible during my adventures and i have come to figure out that this is a strong and horrid adventure I am on.. I have been on a emotional roller coaster with myself. The ups and downs have slowly began to mellow and anyone whom knows me personally would say I am always smiling, which is how my friend conjured up the nickname smiley when i was in highschool. Im a little nervous, scared and excited. This can't be good for my heart.. XD.
And here is the most recent picture of me, taken 10/27/2012 which i was dressed up in gwen stacy costume for work.. YES for work. I work for Hot Topic for all that wish to know. =] Best job ever! Yes I have make up on, so its a little harder to see the scars but you can tell the difference after a month and two days since the accident. Such a improvement huh? Its from my genetics, Im over half native american ( Chicasaw/choctaw) which my family thinks made my healing fast.

And also, I had gotten a new car within two weeks after the accident, Gotten me a black sport Miatia mx5 mazda (Yes I love mazda's and I will forever have a small car.. -_- thats just how I am.. I mean I am horridfid if I drive anything bigger than the size of the MX6 Gosh, thats sad isn't it?
Well, I don't have any issues driving and I don't mind.. With my anxiety issues you would think I couldn't still but nope.. Was able to drive the saturday after the accident when i had to work. which I didn't mind because i loved my job and I was so worried about me loosing it XD which i shouldn't of worried about in the first place.
Well on this note, I will keep everyone updated with how I am recovering, and as you see I am doing fine. In a years time I should have my surgery to fix the scars and fix my eyelid since for the longest time I couldn't close it, and finally last week I could!! 100%! Yay!!
