Anne Frank was a Jewish girl who hided with her family in a secret annex in Amsterdam during The Second World War to escape the Germans. Anne Frank became known, because she recorded her complete stay in her diary. In August 1944 every one is arrested from the secret annex. Anne Frank was killed in March 1945.
In the Anne Frank museum, you can see how Anne Frank and her family lived in the secret annex. (note: the secret annex is not accessible for people with wheel chairs).
A visit to the Anne Frank house will remind you about the horrors of The Second World War. Something we must not forget and learn to our children (if not to young).
