In the morning when I see your face
I am greeted with your smile and embrace

We love each other so but know this is not where we need to be.
Our journey together was just to far to see.

We must part once again...

I will remember when it was good...

It's better to wish you well on your own journey of life.
As I go this way remember I am ok and deep down I will always be her, your wife.

Move forward don't look back...

We can't live running backward to lives we have already lived...

Time for new experiences, new memories, new people.
I take with me what I have learned from he, who was my equal.

I will continue on my path to have knowledge of self.
