Red Bluff Art Association Demo

On July 17th, I did an oil Painting demo for The Red Bluff Art Association here in Northern California using the Genesis Heat Treated painting system.  It's a non toxic paint that comes in jars and when you mix colors on a glass palette with a palette knife it becomes more buttery as you mix.  The advantage to this paint is that it never dries, that is, until your ready to "heat treat" it.  This is done in the oven where you bake your painting for 12 - 15 minutes at 265 degrees f.

You are limited in size by how big your oven is, but I've baked paintings as large as 16 x 20 inches. Genesis sells special ovens for larger paintings or you could use a heat gun (not a hair dryer).   For more info on this paint you can go here.

Here is the painting that I did for RBAA.  It is oil on board, 12 x 16 inches and is unframed.  It has 1/2 inch spacers around the edge, so it can be hung without a frame.

It is available by messaging me on FaceBook.
