Can you tell what it is yet?...oh wait we're not supposed to say that anymore are we?

 "What do you call yourself nowadays?...An odd question right? For a couple of weeks I agonised with myself about what the hell kind of name I wanted for my photography portfolio website. Did I want to go all clever, and come up with a funky name to do with light, or photography or something? Did I want to pretend to be some massive business who employed a gazillion people? How about the word 'studio'? Too pretentious perhaps Tarquin? Maybe I should just go down the traditional route and append the word 'photography' to my name?

Round and round I went, snapchatting people things they didn't really understand, talking nonsense into beer whilst I tried to decide. I came up with a really clever, cool name, then found out I wasn't such an original thinker after all and that all the suffix permutations were gone. I'm always paranoid that nobody can spell my name, so I wanted to avoid that if I could, so what to call it?

Around and around. People started sending me clever latin and ancient greek manipulations of the word 'camera' and then dismissing other people's ideas as 'lightweight', I kept trawling through the web, looking for likely available options. Time ticked. Too many long days started to take their toll, people started to tell me that I have an 'artists name', whatever the hell that means, and I finally buckled. You can keep the 'photography' bit though!
