Medieval Fair...or is it Fayre?

"You sir, have offended my wife!"...or something...
It's international street photography day! Today's post is a selection of images I took at a medieval fair in July and I know street photo convention says that it all has to be in high contrast mono, but I care not for convention! I'm not going to get chance to actually shoot on any streets so this is the best I could do. I wasn't shooting officially at this fait but just happened to take my camera along. It's a good job it wasn't official too too since I wasn't in the best form that day, and only managed to grab a few images.

Old Skool Rock n Roll
"Gruel again"
These were actually laying into each other with some venom (note the dents to the helmets), and are Battle of the Nations competitors. That's a serious sport!
The man with the bow is a Yorkshireman called 'Sheeps'. He also has a Lancashire Red Rose tatooed on his arm...civil war's a terrible thing!
