Every Wednesday night TMN airs two back to back episodes of The Sopranos. Time to sit and relax and get acquainted with seasons one through five. Having watched Sopranos from the beginning, I’ve been patient through the long season delays and strived to understand the tacked on sub plots. Finally, some time for quality television. So I thought.

The first episode that airs at 9pm is only 45 minutes long. The second episode is a full hour. I thought I must be going crazy, maybe I was mistaken about the length of the first episode. Next week the same thing, first episode aired at 9pm was only 45 minutes long. Now I have to sit through 15 minutes of endless sunburn contests and Rome promotions. One can only guess what’s been edited out of the episode. Come on folks at TMN, even CTV didn’t edit content from their episodes. Give me my 15 minutes of Sopranos back.

Still, the enjoyment of the Sopranos will force to me watch every Wednesday night. As a protest, I will turn off my TV during the break. This is what I plan to do during the 15 minutes:

- Push my hands into my eyes for an interesting light show
- See how long I can hold my breath
- Try not to think about penguins
- Pick up the cat so he can see things from my point of view
