Spark Your Dream

A dream to drive from Argentina to Alaska, and a couple willing to chase it. The year is 2000, and Candelaria and Herman have a dream to chase. At first quite worried about leaving, they leave their families for a trip that was supposed to last only 6 months, but stretched out into 3 and 1/2 years! Along the way, they meet new people and mingle with their culture, all while going bankrupt, having a baby and several breakdowns of their 1928 Graham.

This book has inspired me to start chasing my dreams and to start writing in my blog again after over a year of inactivity. This book is one of the few books that really changed my life due to the fact that this story is a real life experience showing that anything is possible. I also found their website while searching the web for the cover picture and looked at virtually every page on the site. I found out that they took more trips than the one described in the book, and I am very happy for them.

I really recommend this book, but the recommended age according to the local library is most likely a Young Adult Read , but I disagree with that and would recommend this book for people ages 12+.
