Shreveport Police are searching for Michael Tyler, better-known as the rapper Mystikal, in connection with an alleged sexual assault that took place October 22, 2016, according to a report on the KSLA website. Another man, Averweone Holman, was also named in the report.

“Warrants were secured for Mystikal and Holman for one count each of First Degree Rape,” according to KSLA. “Bond was set at $2 million each.”

One man and has already been arrested in connection with the incident while police are still seeking Mystikal and a female accomplice. Mystikal is facing one count of First Degree Rape, with a bond set at $2 million.

In 2003 Mystikal plead guilty sexual battery and extortion. During the course of the trial, a videotape of the sexual assault surfaced. Mystikal was ultimately sentenced to 6 years in prison, narrowly avoiding a mandatory life sentence. When he was released in 2010 he was given 5 years probation and had to register as a sex offender.
