ISRO, The Indian Space Agency is planning to launch GSLV Mark-III at Sriharikota. The rocket will be launched in the month of June. This rocket is indigenously developed by Isro scientist.
GSLV MK-III weighs nearly 640 ton which includes massive cryogenic engine. The ISRO researchers have put their best efforts to make this rocket. The director shared that it took 12 years for the preparation of this rocket. GSLV MK-III will carry GSAT – 19 communication Satellite. The strap on motors and the core engine have been integrated. The GSAT-19 satellite weighs around 3.2 tons. It is one of the heaviest satellites which will be lifted by an Indian rocket.
GSAT – 19 is a multi-beam satellite with the life span of 15 years. The satellite will carry Ka and Ku band payload along with a Geostationary Radiation Spectrometer (GRASP) payload to monitor and study the nature of the charged particles and influence of space radiation on spacecraft and electronic components. GSAT-19 satellite will employ advanced spacecraft technologies including bus subsystem experiments in Electrical propulsion System, indigenous Li ion battery, indigenous Bus bars for power distribution, etc. Obviously, the rocket will face many pressures in the course of atmospheric flight phase.

With this, it has also launched South Asia Satellite to connect the bordering countries. Hopefully, this time also ISRO will successfully launch the satellite into the orbit.
Although, ISRO was planning to launch GSLV Mark – III in the month of May but now they have decided to launch the satellite in June due to carrying out of several tests.
