Looking up Bullet Journal layouts on Pinterest.
I will confess to thinking the Bullet journaling was THE DUMBEST idea ever when I first heard about it. Sure, I loved people’s pages, but you want me to pay for an organizer and I have to do all the work? No. Thanks. I don’t even remember what caused me to change my mind. Maybe the mood tracker, which I’ve been meaning to do forever, or maybe the habit tracker. Maybe it was just seeing page after page of beautiful layouts. Possibly just having another note book filled with lists. Most likely it was the idea of combining all of that with some Zentangle and adult coloring type me time and getting a planner I will actually use in the end. All I know is, I got sucked down the rabbit hole. Granted, my pages are not that beautiful, especially after I write in them, but I do use it and it’s helping me at least see how often I practice doing the habits I want to pick up. You can’t deny a row of blank squares, I’m just saying. Tuesday I’ll have an affiliate post about all the tools I use for mine.

I guess The Miracle Morning is a thing in the bullet journal world and I bought an e copy. Reading one of the reviews someone said it was mostly an advertisement for the book you already bought. There are a lot of self-help books like that. This is no exception. If I have to read one more time about how great this thing is before I actually get to the thing, smh. I am enjoying the bits I do read though and I’m hoping to get started with my “miracle morning” schedule tomorrow. I figure it never hurts to try.
