What do you get when you take a 35th birthday and add 13 couples? Murder in Manhattan success of course! Today's post features Sara and her friends having fun in a new way...with costumes, food, and murder!

According to Sara,

"... so much fun! None of us had even been to a party like this. Most of us are parents and rarely do much 'fun' stuff. ... the adults had a blast!"

There was even a babysitter in the other room watching the kids. That meant no worries for the parents, and lots of fun.

Crime scene popcorn and blood spattered fudge makes Murder in Manhattan an even bigger success at this party.

"The Bloody Mary's were a success, a friend made a cake that looked like a high rise building & a martini glass with bloody handprint. Definitely going to plan another party for this summer!!"

Grayson looks a lot like a certain 80's rock star, the girls wore cocktail dresses and old bridesmaid dresses, and Chester was rockin' it in pin stripe suit and purple silk shirt.
