Apple has quickly released a iOS 12 Beta 8 as a follow up to the recently released seventh beta. Developers who installed iOS 12 Beta 7 started reporting extremely poor performance on their hardware after installing the update. While others noted that the performance did improve after using their devices for awhile, Apple decided to remove the update altogether, preventing anyone from downloading it.
You can download the new OTA update from Settings > General > Software Update section of the device itself, or directly as an IPSW file from developer.apple.com.
If this update goes as planned we would expect Apple will subsequently release the new fixes in a public beta build. You can learn about some of the new features and improvements included in the update here.
