Katekyo Hitman Reborn was a fun Series about a young boy, Tsuna, who is a decedent of the Vongola bloodline, destined to become the Tenth Vongola Boss. Throughout the series despite all of the adversaries and trials Tsuna and his friends had to overcome, he still remained the same feeble, weak, yet kind boy he was in the very beginning. Tsuna stayed a crybaby though he saw his friends and family constantly put in danger, beaten nearly to death or killed. He only took initiative when he used his Dying Will Flame or when the situation was extremely dire. I like Tsuna, he never wanted to become a Vongola Boss and live the hectic life and he meant but not once did he grow as a character. Shigeo Kageyama(Mob, Mob Psycho 100) and Saitama(One-Punch Man) are similar to Tsuna, but much better.
In the series Mob Psycho 100 the main character is Shigeo Kageyama or Mob for short. He is blessed with immense psychic ability that he actually doesn't want. its not until he uses his power to protect his brother that he realizes what he can do. He joins Reigen Arakawa's Ghost Detective Agency as an apprentice. Throughout the series we see just how mellow and forgiving Mob is. He's a kind and sweet 14 year old with this power he barely uses but at some point in the series he realizes that because of this power, he's putting his friends and family in danger and the only way to solve this problem is to use his powers. Unlike Tsuna, Mob is able to understand the purpose of his powers while staying true to himself.
Saitama hails from One-Punch Man, the action packed super hero parody. Saitama is unlike any of the other characters in the series as he doesn't take things seriously. Saitama is a wholesome man who only got stronger so he wouldn't be pushed around by humans and monsters anymore. When Monsters attack he kills them in one punch. When it comes to fighting, Saitama is serious. He's a goofy character yet realizes that because of his powers, he has a responsibility to saving humanity.
Mob and Saitama are able to keep their personality throughout their series while understanding the responsibility of their powers. They are wholesome characters that regular people like us can relate to despite having these immense abilities. Tsuna is relatable but he doesn't grow. He wants to be a regular teenager despite his powers yet he can't run away from this, though he does. Tsuna failed to be a character that wanted out of the super heroics and saving lives and being a regular human yet Mob and Saitama succeed in this area. I like Tsuna, I get what he wants yet his character became so dull and trivial that its hard to like him at times.
