The actor from Vishakapatanam has Worked in 200 plus films most of them inconsequential but what deserves mention is her consistency. She has worked in eight languages and is currently doing director T Rajender's Movie and a Malayalam Film with Mohanlal. This will be the most important year in her career as she has written the Story, screenplay and has also directed a woman oriented movie titled "O Malli". Due for release in July, the posters are drawing attention; it has a woman walking into the mountains and into sunset with a bundle of sticks on her head. Ramya Sri says, "It is a tragic story of a woman but a total commercial film, the reason for me becoming a director is the story. You wouldn't have heard of such a subject in Tamil or Telugu movies at all."
