How time flies, ever since the douche in charge of +General Motors Chevrolet C7 program proudly proclaimed being so pleased with the lap time Corvette C7 Z06 allegedly scored at Nurburgring track. As this blog stated in the past, the 7:18 time that appeared like a comet for a few minutes on GM website, only to vanish mysteriously was actually a truly shitty time, even though it edged the C6 ZR1 time by a second which is not only worse than Generation 4 Dodge Viper ACR-X but also well within the new tire technology, making the newest "flagship" a total failure.

In spite of continuous promises, +Tadge Juechter reneged on his promise to deliver the lap time to the masses and had it not been for this blog, nobody would even know about it.

Apparently, the time has come to rip both GM and Juechter fresh assholes and remind the douchebags that deceiving the gullible Corvette masses can last only for so long.

Long and behold, there is another event, making Juechter and GM uncomfortable to put it mildly.  The new reminder has been served by none other than latest AMG Mercedes GT R variant.  What makes the whole event even more humiliating to Juechter and the masses is the fact that the time is right down impressive at 7:10 and the car is not even a true track car as GM pretended C7Z06 to be.

The Mercedes is right down old school, compared to the certified piece of shit called C7 Z06, right down to its manually adjusted rear spoiler and coilovers.  What is not so old school is the active front spoiler and rear active axle steering but over all, the car is more of a Mercedes take on Dodge Viper than anything reminding the AARP friendly Z06 turd.

Aesthetically, the Mercedes is leaps and bounds better looking than the newest and unfinished looking plastic fantastic, a car looking like a rear section of Porsche 911 grafted on BMW Z8 front.  Even though the Mercedes has considerably less power at 577 and weight equal to Z06, the car delivers the necessary combo of downforce and traction to make the Z06 feel like a true piece of s...t.

What makes the Mercedes lap even more impressive is the fact that the driver is a journalist and not a portly factory driver like Mero porker.

Certainly, this is not something GM would like to see since it makes it look like a pack of complete liars and douchebags but hey, this is life in the fast lane.
