Selling Private Ads
If you have enough traffic, advertisers will come directly to you and volunteer to place their ads on your website. You can also contact the advertisers yourself and place the offer. The difference from the ads mentioned above is that you can set up your own ad rates depending on the number of visitors that you have.
Private ads can be buttons, banners or links. You can also make sponsored posts where you can write or give a review about the product and services of the advertisers.
Profiting from Affiliate Links
Affiliate marketing is another tool used to generate money from your website. An advertiser can give you a commission from each sale a buyer from your blog makes. You may also be given a unique link that can track your affiliate code. You need to include this affiliate link on your site. If the reader clicks the unique link and buys the product from the advertiser, you can earn a percentage from the sale.
Sell Digital Products
If you do not want to advertise other people’s product in your blog, you can sell digital products. These include e-books, online workshops or courses, apps, plug-ins, and themes, or copyright images, music or videos.
Do not be afraid to experiment. There are a lot of ways to make money from your blog but it takes a lot of persistence to be paid off in the long run.
