What is a Root Canal?

A Root canal itself is a tiny canal within your tooth that can become infected which can lead to the pulp inside your tooth becoming infected. The root canal procedure involves cleaning out and filling the infected canals. It may not sound like a very fun procedure but the ongoing infection is worse which could lead to the loss of the infected teeth.

Depending on how many teeth are infected and the severity of the infection, root canals usually require only one or two visits.
